A multimedia-enhanced architecture sheds some light on the coexistence of wolves and humans in an interactive and immersive way.

The Wolves are back. The newly opened Wolf information center (WIZ) at the Wildpark Schorfheide has set out to provide a basis of information for the heated discussion about the dangers to farm animals and humans.
Facts in the form of texts, images and numbers are presented in an exhibition space.

The emotional side of the situation is subject of an immersive media wall designed and prouced by us.

Visitors are confronted with clichés and myths about the wolf, they can experience the actually quite social behaviour of wolves and compare it to the behaviour of humans in nature. Also the conflicts which emerge on the border between habitats of wolves and humans are staged.

The immersive setting is designed in a paper-cut visual style, not only to create the look and feel of a childrens’book, but also to not compete with the main attraction:
Live wolves on the area of the adjoining park.

Die Wölfe sind zurück. Das neu eröffnete Wolfsinformationszentrum (WIZ) im Wildpark Schorfheide hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, der erhitzten Diskussion um die Gefahren für Herden und Menschen ein umfängliches Bild der Situation als Basis zu geben.

Hierzu werden in einem Ausstellungsraum über Texte, Bilder und Zahlen die Fakten dargestellt.
Die emotionale, assoziative Seite wird durch die von uns gestaltete und umgesetzte Medienwand ins rechte Licht gerückt: Klischees und Mythen, welche sich um den Wolf ranken, werden in Erinnerung gerufen, das sehr soziale Verhalten der Wölfe wird erfahrbar gemacht und mit dem menschlichen Verhalten in der Natur verglichen. Auch die Konflikte an der Grenze zwischen den Lebensräumen werden inszeniert.

Die immersive Inszenierung ist in einer scherenschnittartigen Ästhetik gehalten, nicht nur um den bilderbuchartigen Charakter der Ausstellung zu erzielen, sondern auch, um nicht den Hauptdarstellern die Show zu stehlen: Den lebendigen Wölfen im angrenzenden Wildpark.
